Draft for review. Not yet in force. Last updated 31 October 2026.
Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the Dazzby WhatsApp service and website (“the service”). The service is run by [COMPANY NAME AND REGISTRATION NUMBER], South Africa (“we”, “us”). By sending a message to the service or paying for a plan, you agree to these terms.
1. What the service does
You send a voice note or message describing a job. We turn it into a draft quote that you check, change and send to your client yourself. You can turn a quote into an invoice.
2. You check every document
Speech recognition and AI can make mistakes. You are responsible for checking every quote and invoice before you send it, including prices, quantities, client details and VAT. You are responsible for the work you quote for and for your dealings with your clients.
3. VAT and tax
If you enter a VAT number, documents show VAT at your country’s rate and may be titled “Tax Invoice”. If you do not, they show no VAT. Whether you must register for or charge VAT is your responsibility. We do not give tax advice; ask your accountant if you are unsure.
4. Your clients’ money
Your clients pay you directly, using the bank details or payment link you provide. We never receive, hold or process your clients’ payments.
5. Plans and payment
- Free: 3 quotes a month, with “Made with Dazzby” at the bottom of each document.
- Starter: R50 (N$50) a month for 30 quotes. Unlimited: R100 (N$100) a month, fair use up to 300 quotes a month.
- A quote counts towards your plan the first time you send it to a client.
- Paid plans are charged monthly to your card through Netcash, in South African rand. Namibian dollars and rand are charged at par.
- You can stop any time. Your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for. We do not refund part months.
- If a payment fails, your number returns to the Free plan 3 days after the paid month ends. Documents you already sent keep working.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice through the service.
6. Fair use
Each plan is for one business and one WhatsApp number. Don’t share access, resell the service, send unlawful content or try to get around limits. We may suspend numbers that do.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. It depends on WhatsApp, our hosting and AI providers.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profit or losses caused by errors in documents you sent without checking. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.
9. Ending the service
You can stop using the service and send “delete” to the bot to remove your data. We may end the service for a number that breaks these terms.
10. Law
South African law applies to these terms.
