Privacy policy
[COMPANY NAME], South Africa, runs the Dazzby service. We follow the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) for everyone who uses the service, in South Africa and Namibia.
What we collect from you (the business)
- Your WhatsApp number and WhatsApp profile name.
- The business details you enter: name, address, email, VAT number, bank details, payment link, prices and logo.
- Your voice notes and messages to the bot, and their transcripts.
- The quotes and invoices you make, and how many you send each month.
- Payment records from Netcash: reference, amount, result. We never see or store your full card number.
Your clients’ details
When you add a client’s name, phone number or address to a quote, we process it on your behalf so the quote can be made and sent. You are responsible for having a reason to use your clients’ details. We only use them to provide the service to you.
How we use it
To make your quotes and invoices, show them to the clients you send them to, run your plan and billing, keep the service secure, and fix problems.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the service:
- Meta (WhatsApp) to receive and send messages.
- Supabase for storage and hosting (servers in the United Kingdom).
- Cloudflare for the website.
- Anthropic (Claude) to read the job from the transcript.
- A speech-to-text provider to transcribe voice notes.
- Netcash to take payments.
Some of these process data outside South Africa and Namibia. We use providers bound by agreements that protect personal information. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
- Voice notes: deleted after 30 days.
- Quotes, invoices and payment records: while your account exists, and longer where the law requires us to keep financial records.
- Everything else: until you delete your business.
Your rights
You can see and correct your details on your settings page. Send “delete” to the bot to remove your business and its data. You can also ask us what we hold about you, object to processing, or complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
Security
Data is stored in private, access-controlled storage. Links to your pages expire after 7 days. Client links show one document only.
